MY WORST NIGHT by silvia
when i was 7 i lived in a large counsil house just outside texas. My grandma used to babysit me and my sister charlotte on fridays while mum and dad went out. One night when grandma babysat us she told us a horror story because we always liked to hear them. She told me about the 3 girls who once lives in texas, and one day went looking for trouble. She said that they went knocking on a old lady's house and throwing stones at it and after that they diappeared and were never saw again and blah blah blah. We thought yeah right! It was just come crap story to say dont go looking for trouble kinda thing. Anyway we went to bed but our granma told us the old lady likes to hum to herself while walking through the streets and she always stops at the well. We had a well in our cellar so we kinda got a bit uneasy but brushed it off. Me and my sis went to bed. ABout 3.00 in the morning we heard this chilling noise come from downstairs in the cellar. Not a scream, a bit like a screech. I was too scared to go but my sister made me go with her to wake gran up and tell her what we heard. We went to her room and she said it always happened and that it was just the well so we shrugged. My sister and I went down for some water when we heard it again. Well my sister has this little charm bracelet that she loves and she got a shock when she heard it and it fell down the cellar steps a little. I was terrified and thought no way am i going in there! My sister being a bit braver went down the steps. I waited at the top and i heard my sister gasp. I looked down and my sister was gone. I went down quickly and saw my sister standing over the well. When i saw what she was looking at i absolutely screamed! my gran came rushing down. We saw the well overflowing with red substance like blood. My gran rang my mum and she took us home that night uncluding my gran. My gran sooned sold her house because she was deeply unnerved by that and she lived with us for a bit. Honestly i was abosulutely terrfied and hope i never have another night like that.But the strangest thing is, my sister never found her charm bracelet when she was down there and she never dared to go back down to look! btw im 16 now and im still scared of what happened.

me and my sisters were all wathing s horror movie.there was a storm and all the lights went out we were all reallly scared the only light was the tv light(reall strange)then all of a sudden the movies went off and the screen wet all blurry i heard a voice sayin im comin to get you in a really creepy voice.then all of a sudden the lights came back on and i saw this blurry image of a woman with black hair.i stared cyrin and sayin who is that my sisters were really creeped out because the couldnt see that thing.my mom came back home and i told her wat happened she said the movie that we were watching must have got to my head(by the way we were watchin the ring 2).

Ok this is 100% true. One night I was sitting upstairs in my room watching eastenders as I always do when i heard my name being called. Now my house is always full of poeple coming to visit and since we had company I didnt think anything of it and went to see who called me. I asked and my parents and their visitors said they didnt call me. So anyway i went back upstairs and this totally freaked me out big time! My tv was turned off! Seeing as everyone wa downstairs even my sister i was seriosuly wondering how it went off.I brushed it off, however later about 11.30pm company left and i turned my telly off. the lights went out and i thought typical. Anyway the whole house was in darkness when someone entered my room. I thought it was mum to check i was ok in the dark but when i called no one called back. the lights soon came back on but no one was in my room. I saw the door open and felt someone in there with me for a split second and yet no one was there. I know i didnt imagine it but i dont know what happened that night. Who opened my door? freaky huh?

This is a true story maybe you will believe me no one else will. It happened about 2 months ago. One summer night as I was walking with one of my friends we saw something but wasn't sure what it was.So we just kept walking.Later on we seen it again but this time it was up in a tree.It looked like a man with blood gushing out of his eyes.He looked very pale and sick.In a way he looked like a man that had died a few months before this happened.The mans body had been missing for 6 months.So the next day we called the police and told them what we had discovered.So they discovered the body and it was the man that had been missing.They call this The Dead Figure.

My grnadma had just come back from a date with my grandpa and they were just teens. It was kind of late and she was tired. So she went upstairs to her room wich was shared with her sister. Her sister was in her bed drinking tea and readinga book so my grndma decided to join her and drank a cup of tea, even though she was sleepy. They started to chat about how her date went when all of a sudden they both heard a dragging noise coming up the stairs. They jumped on the bed and stayed there to frozen to move. My grandma wanted to run across the hall to tell her parents but was way too scared and also the noise was getting closer to their bedroom. Whatever it was that was making that noise was getting closer and the sound was getting louder. They stayed there, waiting for the "thing" to go into their bedroom. But instead it passed their bedroom and kept on going. At the end of the hallway was the bathroom door and the "thing" could not go past it. I cant say the rest of the story because my grandma for got the rest of what happend, lol. This story is 10000% true and if you dont like it, then too bad because its my grnadmas story.

concerning chain letters: I was shy and had very few friends in high school. To attract a classmate's attention, I sang a few bars from the German national anthem to her (she was of German extraction). A few weeks later she responded?by handing me a chain letter with 7 years of bad luck if I didn't circulate it?to a large number of?people. Not having the energy to do so, I forgot about the letter but never?forgot the malice of the person who gave it to me. To this day, I avoid teasing people about their ethnic origin. Did I have bad luck? Yes and no. Sometimes I wondered if a piece of hard luck could be connected with the chain letter. I noticed later that letters and documents sometimes?brought me difficulties. This is my first storie on here and i assure you it's true. When i was 14 me and my friends decided to have a sleepover. We all pigged out and had a laugh. My parents got an urgent call, it was my nan. She was in hospital after a stroke so they dashed out and said they would send my uncle james over to watch us the night. So we waited when we heard a knock on the door. I never heard the knock but my friends Jazz and Jenny did. I went to open it for my uncle but he wasnt there. I said it must of been the wind because it sometimes did that. Anyway, Jazz was really quiet while we were talking and I asked what was wrong. She just said she didnt feel right. She said she needed the toilet so she went upstairs leaving me and Jenny to chat. After about 20 minutes we heard a bang as though someone has slipped upstairs. We ran up and saw Jazz lying on the floor. She said she slipped but I noticed her voice was shaky. We asked her what was wrong but she snapped at us and told us not to talk about it or go on. Me and Jenny were creeped out as she was acting really strange. My uncle came soona after but from then on Jazz was never the same person. She seemed very withdrawn and didnt like talking but before she loved talking. I lost touch with her about 4 years ago as we seperated for different colleges and would love to know if shes still out there. If you know somebody called Jazz Kernbuckell then please tell her that Sarah is asking for her.

This new girl called Jess Sweeney has just started at my school. Me and my friends were the sort to go over to someone new and involve them in games and such. My names Kirsty and this is a true story i swear to you! i live in england and i work in my brothers pub. One night i was sleeping over because my parents had gone on holiday and i didnt want to sleep in our big house all alone seen as my two brothers and 1 sister had all moved out. Anyways the time came for me to go to bed, my brother Kevin asked me to go to the pubs cellar and turn the big industrial ice-cube making machine on, in time for tomorrow, so i stepped out the flat,went down the back stairs and onto the bottom bar and the cellar door was to my left. Ive always hated going in there during the day never mind at night. The cellar is divided into 3 parts, one for the beer barrels, one for sotrage of cleaning stuff like pipe line fluids and whatnot, and the other for the ice-cube machine and and the back door for taking deliveries for the brewry, as i walked into this section i heard a sound like someone dragging something heavy across a stone floor, i just brushed it off thinking it was just my imaginination. So i turned the mains on the machine and turn around, and as i turned around to walk out all the cleaning fluids in the other half of the cellar just fell to the floor, luckily nothing spilled, but still creepy all the same, so i lifted the big steel shelf back up placed all the fluids back on, then i went again to walk out and i heard the shuffling noise again and i just shouted whoever you are just go away and leave me alone! this isnt your pub its my familys.. yeah kindy stupid when i think back to it but as i finished yelling my brother came in to see what was taking me so long and i told him. we went back up to his flat thats built into the pub and just told me to go to sleep and forget about it but i could still see he was a little edgy. anyways the next day i came home and went on the internet and i did some research. my borhters pub is called The Yew Tree which is supposed to symbolise death.. and where i live is near the lake district and a big dam about.. 90 -100 years ago burst and flooded our whole city (Sheffield) and the yew trees cellar was used for people to bring in the people who had died.. ever since then ive never gone in the cellar and my brother is part owning it with another family.
