A shadow or not? by Floey

Ok, this happened to my sister and she is positive it is true and she didn't dream it. Ok, my sisters and brother were at my granny and grandads old home before i was born and one night my sister woke up early in the morning. She looked out of the bedroom door and saw a shadow like a really tall man bending over. She thought it might just be a shadow of something so she closed her eyes to get to sleep but she couldn't so about 3 mintues later she opened her eyes and the shadow was at the end of her bed by the window so it obviously couldn't be a shadow. She closed her eyes again, pretty scared but still couldn't sleep. After about 3 minutes she opened her eyes again and looked forward and the 'shadow' was gone so she lay back. The tall figure was bending over her. She screamed and closed her eyes and screamed loudly and my granny and grandad came in to the room and turned on the light but there was nothing there. My sister sat up with her eyes open. She had been sharing a room with my brother but he'd seen nothing. She wouldn't sleep there and my other sister swapped rooms with her. My sister was about 6 at the time and saw nothing else but grandad kept teasing her for the rest of the holiday. Whether this was really true or just a dream it is really scary to me!

this story is true. it happend to ma friend's uncle.supposily that once there was a girl that was so happy because she was getting marry,so she caunted the days she could wait. so the day of her weedind she waiting for her boy friend but he never showed up.the next day she found out dat her boyfriend was gonna marry her sister! so after the weeding the girl ran to her house she put her weeding dress on she got a saw from the basement and she went to her sisters house.she got in and she killed her sister n her boyfriend. when the police went into the house the same night.they saw the lady with the saw in a rocking chair singing (the weeding song)then she jumped out of the window and died. she was burried in her wedding dress and every year, on the day she was gonna get marry she appears killing young people in love, that are happy cuz she neva was. and ma friends uncle saw her walking inn the cementary walking just waiting to kill young people's love.

Don't Try this at Home by Nicole

A few years ago me and my friend had a sleepover at her house. Of course at the time it if you did Bloody Mary into the mirror and lived, you'd be considered popular. So me and my friend decide to "Give it a try". We were a bit nervous but we wanted to be popular. Imagine a room with a white bed, green walls and stuffed animals everywhere. That's my friends room. Across the hall was the bathroom and next to it was her Parent's room.

So we stupidly thought of saying Bloody Mary 3 times into the mirror with the lights of, closed door, and alone. Stupid Idea! We walk slowly up to the mirror and repeat, "Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary." very slowly. Next thing we know we hear voices coming form the mirror. The were speaking either some other language or gibberish. We tip-toed to the door slowly, it was locked! We started to flip out and scream. Next, we turn around there lies the face of a burning woman, "Bloody Mary" flat on the mirror. We literally broke down the door and ran! We were so scared we jump out the 2nd story window and landed on her trampoline, luckily. We told everyone, but no one believed us. Just remember, Don't Try This At Home!!!

My grandmas house is known to be haunted and my cousin told me that once when he slept over there something really scary happened to him well it was only him and my grandparents in that big house and he was sleeping next room to them a few moments before sleeping my grandma told him that if he needed some kind of help in the night he just had to knock 3 times on the wall and shell go over and aid him and my cousin told her to do the same thing if she needed him. my grandma just smiled and went in her room. my cousins bed was atatched to the wall which him and my grandparents share one on each side. well he was starting to go to sleep but then he heard a thump thump thump. sound coming from the wall and he thought oh whatever and tried to go back to sleep and then it ocured again harder this time. THUMP THUMP THUMP.

he woke up and listened for more. nothing. . . .and againg a few munutes later THUMP!!!THUMP!!!THUMP!!!!

he imediatley got up remebering his grandmas instructions and ran to her room and knocked on the door - grandma grandma!! no answer maybe something happened to herhe thought and knocked again no answer. so he got back to his room and laid on the bed scared and everything was quiet until his lids started to close and the it went crazy THUMP!!! THUMPPP THUMP!!!! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

again and again he started crying and ran again to grandmas room and knocked really hard. after a few tries sleepy grandma opened and when she saw him all scared and crying she tried to confort him and listened "i thought something was ahppening to you". he cried o no nothing was happening she said its just that. . . well the things from my dresser toppled over ans\d calmed the trebling child and she slept with him for the night. . .well now 10 years later my cousind asked my grandma what really happened that night. . was it true about the falling thigs and she said that the thruth was that she did not hear the knockings at all and she made up that things falling from dresser story up to oviously calm him down. what creeps us up is that that wall is hollow but thick and well we think that there might be bones in there or something (shiver) a a a a a a creepyyy!!

Man in the bathroom by RozZe 16

Well this happened to my cousin and i this last summer vacation (2008). well i went vacationing to guadalajara where my fam lives and two of my cousins live in a sort of conected house like two houses forming one in the left side lizeth lives and in the right side Patricia. so i was over at my cousins patricias house it was raining like helll and we were like boreeed so we decided to go lizets house knowing that that side is sort of haunted but we did not care the idea of going out into the rain to get soaked in the middle of the night sounded like fuun

so we got over to her house all wet and well to my surprise my sister was there too my parents had left to buy food and i guess she decided to stay. well we were all laughing and having a good time but then the bathroom door which was shut started shakeing like sombody trying to get out and we all froze and thought w.t.f but i was like ooh its just my cousin liz in there so i aproached the door and started talking to her like "got stuck in the toilet again cus?"

but no 1 answered and i kept on talking and the handle turned an shoke so i got like sooooooo fudgiung freaked out and said liz is it you??? but patty said noo. she went out with my brother to a concert and i really dont know where i got the corage but i opned the door witha a hard push and there was this dark shadow in there it looked like a man but i really could not see anything becuz the thing slammed the door back like really fast and i ran with patty screaming

and then my sister came down asking what was wrong and we told her

and she said ooh its my dad in there he just got home didnt you hear the car pull up?

and me nd paty were at this point laughing a loot and i was like sorry dad and leaned on the bathroom door wich had stopped shaking and o.m.f.g!!

all of a sudden the main entrance door opened and my dad came in the house arms full with groceries and ill never forget the look on my cousins face wich was shurley the one i was making. who the fuck is in the bathroom! so i oppened it again like really fast but i could not see anything eather be cuz i ran as fast as i caould with my cousin back to her house without turning back. this thing was the freakiest thing that has ever happened to me! there really was something in there i saw it!!

Green eyed demon by (ice)sk8ter girl

There is a Civil War battlefield on the Tennessee/Georgia line called the Chickamauga Battlefield. The ghost stories are overflowing, but the most famous is about a demon type creature called Old Green Eyes. The legend goes that at night time, many people have saw a pair of glowing green eyes peering at them from the forest (the battlefield is about 40% woods). There is a very busy road that runs throught the battlefield, where many many people have wrecked after claiming that something jumped in front of their car. It was described as being about three feet tall with a grotesque face and glowing green eyes.

Interestingly, the story did not originate recently at all. The battlefield visitor center has a museum type thing where at one time several civil war journals were on display. One general wrote an entry after a particular battle that had left countless soldiers dead. He wrote that as he was looking over the field at all the fallen men, he saw a creature walking among them. It was described exactly people today have described it . About three feet tall with glowing green eyes. He said that after it saw him coming towards it, it ran into the woods. There are other journal entries about this little beast as well.

Personally speaking, I have been to the battlefield several times to go horseback riding. Many people ride there, and they will all tell you that their horses get spooked over nothing all the time. The last time I went, it was only me and a friend with our own horses. We were running full speed through an empty field (about to enter the woods) when all of the sudden the horses just stopped completey almost throwing us off. They both stopped at exactly the same time. Whenever I go riding in groups, I usually ride ahead, by myself, and this same thing has happened many times. My horse freaks out over nothing, always shying away from the woods.

As I said there are many more ghost stories about the battlefield, but I think that one is the best. There are many park rangers there who claim to have saw old green eyes. So if you're ever in the area....stop by.

Haunted house by tonya

On my street where i live theres a yellow house i throw to rocks at it ..but thats not the story.a little girl went in the house ..becaz the front door was opened .all you here is screaming because the houe she went in to was hounted .. and you see the girl running throw thw house the little girls name was shara ... she is only 7... and you see the front door shut all by it,s self ....then you hear the ghost yelling her nam like this (shara Shara)it was soo scary then you see the front door open we all ran ...but it was just the little girl she had cutz all over her ...and all you here is her cring mommy mommy ...we called 911 and they called her mom the mom had a heart attack and died .....

Long ago there lived two children, Lora and Jake.The children and thier parents moved to a strange town.They didn't relise that alot of cats stayed around their house. But each night more and more came.Lora and Jake shared a room.One night Jake slept on the bottem bunk of their bunk beds.That night all of the strange cats came into the children's room. They came out from under the bed and out of the closet.The cats had evil red eyes.One of the cats jumped on Jake. So he shut his eyes as fast as possible.And lie very still.The evil cat stuck his two inch claws into Jake's stomache.Then clawed out his eyes.The next morning Lora couldn't find Jake anywere.So she went to the back yard to look for him.Lora saw something moving in the bushes. She walked over only to find Jake's lifeless lieing with a cat sitting next to him.After a while Lora missed her brother so much she slept on the bottem bunk.The next day Lora was nowere to be found.Her mother went to the back yard to look for her.She saw the same rustling in the bushes. She screamed, her husband came running out of the house.He saw Lora dead in the bushes.A few weeks latter one by one the family was misteriously murderd by cats.No one lived to tell the tail of the family killed by the killer kittie.So might I ask, who or what am I?
